How we work
Every article follows the same honest pipeline. We play the whole thing, dig through the codex, then draw it out so the world finally makes sense.
We finish the game — main story, side quests, and the endings most write-ups skip. No press-kit summaries, no half-played hot takes.
Item descriptions, environmental clues, patch notes and developer interviews get cross-referenced into a single source timeline.
Our resident artist inks ligne-claire panels and maps so the connections between characters and events are visible at a glance.
Two editors verify every claim against the game, add spoiler gates, and schedule the piece with reader-friendly navigation.

Yes. Every deep-dive and review is free with no paywall. We fund the studio through commissioned work and a small optional membership that removes nothing from the free experience — it just adds early access and downloadable lore maps.
Each feature opens spoiler-free, then uses clearly labelled spoiler gates you have to expand yourself. Reviews stay spoiler-light by default and flag exactly where the discussion turns to endings, so you can stop reading in time.
We welcome scheduled visits at 17 Foster Street, Surry Hills, Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 6pm. Email us first so an editor is free to walk you through original panel artwork and current projects.
Commissions start at A$1,850 per feature and cover research, writing, original ligne-claire illustration, two rounds of revisions, and an editable wiki export. Larger world bibles are quoted after a short discovery call.
Standard turnaround is four to six weeks, matching our editorial pipeline of playthrough, research, illustration, and fact-checking. Rush timelines are possible for launch windows and are quoted case by case.
Absolutely. Roughly a third of our commission work happens under NDA before launch. We keep everything on secure internal drives and only publish once you approve, so nothing leaks ahead of your reveal.
